Controller

Reports to the Partner and VP of Capital Markets. Works daily with the Founder and the Director of Operations. One direct report, selected by you.

This is not a seat for a caretaker of someone else’s system. There is no finance department to inherit; there is one to build, and the person who builds it will run it. You will design the close, the reporting package, the controls, the treasury structure, and the tax calendar for a company that intends to double, alongside a Founder who buys distressed notes, wins zoning fights, and answers his own email at eleven at night. You will have decision rights of your own, a direct line to ownership, the tools to automate everything that ought to be automated, and a written path to Chief Financial Officer and Partner.

If your recent career has been supervising others while they did the work, this is not your seat. If you have ever looked at a company’s books and thought, “I could run this better than the people running it,” we should meet.

Compensation: $150,000 base, adjusted with experience, plus up to $5,000 quarterly bonus. Path to CFO and Partner

Real Estate & Construction Accountant

Reports to the Controller, with day-to-day coordination with the Director of Finance & Operations, the Director of Asset Management, and the construction and project teams.

This is the execution seat in our accounting department. The Real Estate & Construction Accountant owns the day-to-day detail behind both stabilized properties and active development projects: the schedules, reconciliations, job cost detail, and draw support that let the Controller review and finalize reporting. The role also handles the finance side of incoming mail, commissions, and office vendors. You report to a Controller who will train you and hand you real work in week one.

Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 base plus a $5,000 annual bonus
